Membership Requirements

 

G.O.C.A. has two types of memberships:

 

Regular Members –

 

  • Are prime contractors engaged in manufacturing or providing services (other than offset services)
  • Are subcontractors who supply components or services (other than offset services)
  • Have incurred or anticipate incurring an offset or countertrade obligation as a condition of sale either direct from a customer or through a flow-down subcontract from a prime contractor and such offset or countertrade obligation is imposed by a country other than that where the contractor or subcontractor is based

 

Associate Members –

 

  • Are individuals or business entities who do not meet the criteria for Regular Membership
  • Are engaged, anticipate engaging, or may benefit in the business of offset or countertrade

 

 

GOCA offers the following services and benefits to its members:

 

  • Networking at conferences with global government representatives, major multinationals corporations, and service providers involved with offset and countertrade business
  • Training seminars on both fundamental and advanced aspects of the offset and countertrade business
  • Reduced conference fees and access to current presentations
  • Use of a specialized and secure web based tool for collaboration called “the Offset Matrix
  • Access to and discounts on the newly implemented global Career Center

 

Conferences:

 

  • Held semi-annually in the spring and fall
  • Global Industrial Cooperation Conference (GICC) held every two years
  • Regional conferences produced globally upon Government/Industry special requests and with Executive Committee approvals

 

Annual dues are on a calendar year basis from January 1st until December 31st. Beginning in 2018:

  • Companies/organizations with 200+ employees, annual dues are $2,000 per year.

Login to your GOCA profile and go to > Conferences > GOCA Fall 2018 Conference > Scroll down the page to Event Tasks > Register for this Event > Select a Registration Fee. 

Note:  Industry participants may add Industry Training (USD 400) later on in the online registration process on the “Additional Items You Might Need” page.

New to the GOCA?

If new to the GOCA, go to > Create Account to create a GOCA profile.

Once set with a GOCA profile, Login to your GOCA profile and go to > Conferences > GOCA Fall 2018 Conference > Scroll down the page to Event Tasks > Register for this Event > Select a Registration Fee.

Offset Matrix

GOCA is pleased to announce the launch of its Web-based offset matrix for its members. This can be a very useful tool to allow members (and ultimately non-members) to connect with other parties interested in offset in the same country.
