2018 Internship

GOCA offers one internship a semester in Washington,DC for undergraduate students interested in trade association management and international business.  Intern will support conference and membership management.  Duties may include participating in weekly meetings to develop conference agendas, preparing speaker biographies, assisting with preparation of conference materials and conference app.  On-site conference assistance may also be requested.  This internship is not offered during the summer. 
Other duties may include attending and reporting on briefings, meetings, and Congressional hearings on topics such as recent economic and political developments, international trade policy, foreign policy, etc.; assisting professional staff with projects involving research and analysis of developments in trade and politics; and tracking and updating counsellors on recent developments in trade policy, foreign affairs and politics.
